Hundens dag i Tivoli 2024We, Ulla and Jens Erik, are 52 years old. We have 4 children, who are adults today. And we are fortunate to have 6 wonderful grandchildren.
Additionally, we are very fond of the Newfoundland dog <3 It is just the breed for us. Big, loving, and good-natured.
We exhibit both domestically and internationally (Due to health reasons, we are currently taking a little break).
The picture is from Dog’s Day at Tivoli in Copenhagen 2024. Photo: Kim Gudmand. We have participated in this lovely day for several years. We think it is a good event and enjoy meeting lots of dogs (all breeds) and their owners.
We got our first Newfoundland, Balto, in 2001.
In 2015, we had our first litter of Newfoundlands, and I (Ulla) took the breeder education under the Danish Kennel Club, and we got our kennel name: Pilevadgaard’s Newfoundlands.
We have had 6 litters.
Over time, we have had dogs from Denmark, Germany, France, Russia, Estonia, and Romania. (And have mated with males from, among others, Hungary, Belgium, and Denmark.)
We have white and black Newfoundlands, and we have kept Ebbe (our own breeding). He is black and white recessive.
We breed both black and white Newfoundlands. We breed according to the breeding recommendations of the Danish Kennel Club and the Newfoundland Club in Denmark.
We are members of the Danish Kennel Club, the Newfoundland Club in Denmark, and VND-neufundlaender.de (German Newfoundland Club)
